Director: Philip Blackburn
Philip is Director of Artist Services at the American Composers
Forum where he runs the innova recordings CD label. He studied
composition at Cambridge and Iowa and lectures on Harry Partch, Vietnamese/Belizean/Cuban music, and sound in public art. He is a guerilla sound sculptor, creating
occasions for listening where the public least expects them. For
that, he was made a 2003 Bush Foundation Artist Fellow
which is helping him make a sound park in the Belize rainforest. He wrote the soundtrack for Wild Music that may be touring a science museum near you, and has recently made a giant Sonic Playground for the Ordway Center. More.

Operations Manager: Chris Campbell
In addition to being Operations Manager for Innova Recordings,
Chris Campbell is also a video artist and composer. An alum
of Sarah Lawrence College where he studied composition with
George Tsontakis, Campbell now lives in St. Paul where he
enjoys gardening, spending time in nature, cooking Japanese
homestyle dishes with his lovely wife, boxing (not with his
wife), shopping at Axman Surplus, and making movies out of
subject matter many find unusual, yet resonant. More.

Liz Ziegler (innova intern, summer 2008) graduated with her AFA in Music from Anoka Ramsey in 2007, she is now studying at Augsburg College where she will graduate with her BA in Music Business in 2009. Along with her internship at Innova, Liz also performs regularly on bass clarinet in the Calhoun Isles Community Band, along with the Augsburg Choir. Liz also is an avid vocal performer and is starting to work on her senior recital. After college, Liz plans to work at a label and get talented and trained musicians back into "mainstream" music so that they can get the money they deserve. She may even try getting into Entertainment Law. In the meantime, Liz works at First Ave., hangs out with her buddies and her little ferret boys, and loves life!
